  1. The above trailer is a short 4 minute version of the full HDSereneScapes® film that will be released shortly.  Of course it will be called "Portland Japanese Garden" and is shot in my Patent Pending "Natural 3D Motion" process.  Please check out our current films at http://HDSereneScapes.com where the 50 minute film will be available before the end of March 2015.  And thanks so much to the staff and gardening crew for their support in making this film possible. – Wayne Williams

  2. Just went here today. Loved it! I feel like I need to go back for each season now. It's absolutely beautiful and serene. Don't listen to that Apperson person below. Go to the Japanese Garden and the Rose Test Garden if you're in Portland…they are seriously some of the coolest places (man-made) to see in/near the city. The views of the city and Mt. Hood are excellent. Same from Pittock Mansion. Well worth the entry fee, and I can't wait to see the new cultural center they are constructing outside the gardens.

  3. A place full of meaning and beauty. We read it is "the most beautiful Japanese garden outside Japan" but something tells me it is more beautiful than the majority of Japanese gardens in Japan as well. And why not?

  4. My friends who volunteer to maintain the Seattle Japanese garden, get angry when I admit I’d rather enjoy Portland’s.

  5. So peaceful, serene, tranquil, beautiful…………… healing to the mind and spirit.
