  1. Sooooooooo jealous!  Living vicariously through this video; could literally feel it happening as I watched.  Thanks for posting, guys : )

  2. Love that you guys are doing this gardening theme for videos. Gives me inspiration to start my own! Can't wait to see more

  3. aaaahahahhaha wash your chives, folks!
I avoid peat though as it is often harvested from unsustainable sources. Coconut coir is a pretty good alternative.

  4. I used to eat clover all the time as a kid.  I don't even want to think about how much dog pee I ingested.

  5. "If you're afraid to get your hands dirty" …a garden is probably not the place for you to be xD

  6. I absolutely love this series! Fantastic job on making this really easy and understandable for beginners. I'm in a Mediterranean climate so I'm always starting new seed. If anyone here reads this and lives in LA, just plant anything! I didn't follow any rules when I started and I learned what worked and what didn't eventually. For the most part it was either watering more or giving some sort of protection to winter vegs. But we are so blessed that even winter vegs can grow decently in the spring months. Even tropicals grow nice here! There's a durian tree not far from my house. Happy planting 🙂

  7. I live in New York as well! Not upstate, but its not all that much warmer here!

  8. I have to say your videos are so inspiring, after sitting and watching you cook all night I have decided to officially convert from mostly vegan to strictly vegan. I have a ton of things on my list of things I need to cook now too 🙂

  9.  Btw. you know that peat moss is kinda unsustainable? Bogs are drained to get it and you probably know that those are unique eco systems. Also they store a lot of carbon.
Rather use compost next year or something else, I'm no garden pro ^^

  10. I was in Veganz (an all vegan grocery store) in Hamburg Germany a few weeks ago and what do I see but your new vegan cook book! I was both surprised and very pleased to find it in my favourite vegan food shop!
    Congrats and happy (vegan) gardening,
    Scarlett
