  1. Nell… Your videos and posts are loaded with very useful information about plants and their care.. Most plant channels out there just want to be 'cute', while yours actually inform and help plant lovers like us. i hope you don't get tired of making them! Blessings!

  2. Must have tools? I like a tiny pair of scissors. I use them for houseplants African Violets peperomias and fine pruning with a cup of coffee

  3. Lots of great info Nell! The only essential for me is a gardeners hat. I live in hot inland So Calif. I swiped by husband's big field hat. It won't win any fashion awards but it's comfortable and awesome and is much more protective than my baseball caps. I have had the same pair of Felcos for over 20 years and they have outlived many others – won't buy anything but Felco now. I will check out your sharpener.

  4. Great compilation of handy tools, Nell. I live in Phoenix – transplanted from Seattle – so I’m adjusting to gardening in the desert like you. Near the end of your video, while you were showing the hose, rake, etc., I noticed a very healthy looking ground cover next to your house. What is it and what is the orientation on that side of your house? I’m looking for a ground cover to put around my fountain that gets afternoon sun, so it has to be hardy enough to take the intense heat. You mentioned you are on drip irrigation, as am I. How are you watering that ground cover – soaker house, emitters? Thanks for your expertise.
