The Last Great Sports Car…

#McLaren #F1 #supercars

From the mind of a South African madman,
Came a machine capable of knocking down the giants,
Porsche.
Ferrari.
Lamborghini.

All came to know the answer to the question,
What if a car was created without rules?

That car… would be the world’s first hypercar.
The McLaren F1.

  1. Right now,you have 57.1k subs. You’re channel is about to blow up.. this video was amazing. You completely deserve to go viral. Continue making stuff like this. Loved it

  2. A sports car mentioned by the title or a hyper car mentioned in the video? Which one is the video about?

  3. I want to thank and congratulate you on this masterpiece of automotive journalism. All the thoughts and passion put in this video is safely delivered from wherever you are to Malaysia. I had to take a 10 minutes long stare into the ceiling just to absorb both the greatness of the F1 and the video. Again, thank you for this.

  4. BMW able to produce the most capable engine in existence at the time but then they proceed to give us the i8

  5. We need a successor to the p1 forget the Bugatti super sport ss I’m convinced McLaren could shatter their 300 mph record by 40mph

  6. Holy s***********

Very well made with crazy amounts of attention to detail and exceptionally well presentation❤️❤️

    Goosebumps 💥👌👌

  7. Wow great documentary but Gordon Murray had nothing to do with the MP4/4 that was all Steve Nichols and his team's work

  8. This was the best video on important historical cars I've seen in a very long time. Your job at mastering this would make Gordon proud!

  9. It's rare to find videos that go in depth and really show you how good something is, your work is better than a lot of professional documentaries.

    I'm subscribed.

  10. Nice homage to the F1. I'm a serious fan of Koenigsegg now but this car is still the benchmark for me too.

  11. A man wouldnt have acquired the possible without, several times, tried the impossible

  12. Probably the best documentary ive ever seen, its interesting to see what the human mind can do if you pursuit the dream without stop, without think about failing, persisting everyday to make it happen

    it's passionate

  13. Great video! I love your style. The music is in the ‘right’ places. It moves emotions, at least for me.

There are a few technical things that should be clarified and would make the video 100% accurate but for the general public, they would never notice them. I’m referring to Iconel, which should be Inconel and the early BMW VANOS system reference. Early VANOS system principle of operation is vastly different from Honda’s VTEC.

For future videos, if you need technical review or guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out. I would gladly help, free of charge. I have a mechanical engineering background and build engines for a living.

  14. Pedant metallurgist here – it's actually Inconel – Basically a high nickel alloy which exhibits high creep strength, which is the sorta mechanical/material properties you'd need in hot exhaust systems. Used quite extensively in nuclear and aerospace.

  15. Like who builds a car and didn’t know it was gonna hood the record for years and years and years still hasn’t been beat all motor no turbos or supercharger lol that’s how insane this car truly is
