In this video we look at using galvanized steel water troughs as container gardens. I also show you how to fill them for less than $25.00 each, using 3 bales of pine shavings, a half bale of peat moss, two bags of compost, perlite, and a handful of lime.
These galvanized steel water troughs are durable and meant to last a long time. They are a great option for someone who has problems kneeling to weed an in-ground garden. They are also a great option for someone who uses a wheelchair, as they are 2 feet tall and the average wheelchair seat height is 18-19 inches.
