  1. I speak English, French and German and got such a headache trying to listen/view this

  2. I find it sad that this guide seems to know so many things about the tea ceremony and yet forgot the most important. You never wear leather or anything which necessitate the death of an animal in the tea ceremony or in the garden. The tea ceremony is by nature vegan and nothing of animal origin which necessitated the death of an animal is ever served or used.
I know some people are going to say that Kimono are made from the death of silk worms. But, in the tea ceremony you never wear Kimono made from boiled unhatched cocoons or chrysalis, you use silk made from the silk after the silkworm hatched.
There is not more vegan institution in Japan. The tea ceremony comes from Zen and Zen practice which is very close to Jainism is always made up of vegan members. There is no such thing as a meat eating or meat wearing Zen monk or true tea ceremony master.
Even Samurai who NEVER parted with their sword until death, had to leave the sword before joining a tea ceremony or entering a Zen temple because the sword is linked to death.
