    I had issues with animals eating some of my flowers this year. They ate the flower heads off my lillys, hostas, and geraniums. I think its squirrels doing it. But I also see rabbits that live on the other side of the fence (chain link) and they come in my yard and nibble on the hostas. I planted some blackeyed susans that are just starting to bloom. I planted them in a more shady spot though. I think they would have bloomed sooner had I put them in a sunny spot. But I chose the shady spot because it's right outside my bedroom window, as well as being visible from my sun room, and I wanted to see something bright, full, and colorful there. It was an experiment to see if they would do ok in a shadier area.

    Your garden is beautiful. It's nice to see a garden in a regular home rather than a sprawling estate, which is pretty much non attainable! What state do you live in? I am in Southern California.

    You never see elephant ears in gardens anymore. I have the mammoth kind and they are nearly as big as me. lol. The colors are perfect!! Love the coral bells..I got some this year and they didn't make it. We have had so much rain here in Alabama. My zinnia's got mildew so I pulled them up. Had some cone flowers die too. My favorite is the red zinnia's. Love the straw flowers. I just love it all. I just subscribed!!!
