Most western style gardens strive for thick plantings especially at ground level. When the video started I thought the fullness in the maple tree was ok to my eye. However as it started to open up by skilled pruning it became obvious that that was exactly what was needed to maintain the feel of the garden. Wonderful! (sorry for so much English!) ❤️🇦🇺❤️

Lots of new things to learn. The plants is so sparse and very well thought and naturally pruned. At my place and climate the plants will grow forestlike within a month. And the way they clean the 'river'… they clean it but not too clean to maintain the natural feeling of it!
