No problems with putting cole leaves all over the garden as compost? I'm glad if it works for you. I was taught you had to be on a 4 year cycle for cole crop rotation. No root maggots?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! We are all blessed with great knowledge in this United States! I hope to be as good of a urban farmer as you folks.
Great information. Well done Hollis.
Looks just awesome….Great job winterizing
Hollis, I have 2 questions. What do you do with your tomatoes plants once they stop producing? I grow mostly tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, melons, spring onions and peppers. I have tried growing carrots here in South Texas but not with much success. Is there any kind of left over vegetable matter that we should NOT put back into our garden and work in for compost?
I have a pile of old grass clippings can I till it under?
