No Maintenance for a DECADE!! Reviving Aloe Vera, Grape Ivy & more!!

Welcome Back!

More of my houseplants are needing some love today. The houseplants I brought to FL 6 months ago had been quite neglected sadly! The past decade we built a fish house, had a baby (now 7) and 3 kittens, and I was still putting in 50+ hours at my corporate job. Weekly to Monthly watering was really it, so only the strong survived! 💪

Today we’re repotting and propagating an Aloe Vera Barbedensis, repotting Grape Ivy (aka Oak Leaf Ivy), and separating a combo planter gifted by my mom earlier this year. It includes arrowhead syngonium, Heartleaf Philodendron, and English Ivy. (All for sale on my website- link below!)

I share a few tips and tricks throughout the video on how to up-pot and properly maintain your plants- don’t repeat my mistakes! 😇

  1. Sara would like to mention that some of your houseplants can be used in aquarium just the roots are placed in tank to help control nitrates

  2. I've been procrastinating on separating the plants in my combo planter and also repotting my asparagus fern which bloomed and gave me berries this year. It is hard to find cactus/succulent soil this time of year here but I definitely need to git-er-done. 🌱 <•))))~{

  3. Awesome update Sara! Plants are looking great 😊
    What an impressive root system on the Grape Ivy!
    Curious, did you cut/untangle/loosen any of the roots before transplanting it into the new pot?

  4. Your plants are so happy and healthy. Thanks for the update and tips. Be well

  5. Please do the Succulent garden soon. I so want to learn everything about them. I live in Southern Indiana, but I’ll be moving to Arizona this spring. Thank you.
