Don't place the stone plants with the succulents. You aren't supposed to water them. Stone plants (lithops) can only be watered during two times of the year very sparely and if you water them at the wrong time it will kill them!!!

Where does the water that drains from the planter box go?If it collects over the rocks, the rocks will form algae. How do you manage it?
