An easy care evergreen ground cover. Year round interest with pink bell shape flowers in summer and red berries in winter. I planted these in front of my Hydrangea so they do not block the Hydrangea flowers but keep the flower bed interesting in the winter. Pale orange leaves in spring, which kept me worried one season thinking they had too much sun. (It is norm 😉) Other than trimming off occasional dead stems, there is no work needed except for watering.
October 23 – found some new blooms on one of them. This time year, I am expecting red berries rather than blooms!

I have seen this when plant shopping. Had no clue what or how lovely this is. I’m very glad you featured it. Now I know! Thank you.❤
These are gorgeous!! I have heard about plants that are confused by the weather conditions sometimes bloom in the fall – like rhododendrons – if they bloom on old wood they may not bloom again in the spring on those branches that are blooming now in the fall – but I also hear that once the temperatures drop those confused plants will stop blooming – not sure if this is what’s happening to your beautiful wintergreen!
