  1. People in Europe love to travel or doing things to enjoy themselves 21:50. A lot of people in Europe are travelling by their car to different countries not just only by airplane. I did that too Im from Holland and I visit Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain and than Morocco. This journey was so amazing. A lot of people are doing this for example to go to Morocco, Italy or Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, France, Germany or Croatia just by car. You see a lot of things so Im thankfull that I live in Europe and the answer to you question Yes! We have some time to relax and enjoy the nature and history of different nations.

  2. I personally plan the duration of my trips in Europe on the size of the city / area where I am traveling to. I also try to look beyond the touristy places and try to experience the place. Not only seeing it by staying a little bit longer and seeing maybe a little bit less to enjoy thing and relax. It's a vacation not work

  3. In Croatia you can find wolves, bears, foxes, wild boars, weasels, and wild cats inhabit the inland forests and plains. Reptiles and marine life can be found near the coast. Wild goats can be found at higher elevations as well.

We are small country and everything is in close distance max 4-5h drive. So we can easily see the entire Country.

We have rly hot summers and if u gonna visit the sea make sure it is summer time. To experience it to its fullest. Don't get me wrong Croatia is not only about the sea but it is what tourism mostly focuses on since its beautiful and historic. There are also many historical landmarks and beautiful nature everywhere in Croatia.

Food in Croatia is one of the best in the world. You simply have to try it out.

Those guards you saw are tourist attraction not our police. We have normal police officers.

We are proud of our country and we love everything about it but we hate our corrupt politicians. So as a tourist you gonna have a great time since we are rly family friendly place. Most 35 year old ppl and younger speak English so you could easily communicate here. Older ones are trying and will try to communicate with you in the best way they can.

If you wanna learn more about this beautiful place try these videos:

Hope you like those and decide to visit us!

  4. Your both thinking of the Flavian Amphitheater in Rome known as the The Colosseum. Pula like most provincial cities in the Roman empire had smaller versions of arenas and theatre .

  5. If you ever make it to Europe I can only say one thing, you will love Europe and you will not want to leave, believe me.

  6. I would say European countries that do not use the Euro (except Scandinavia/the Nordic countries, Switzerland)
your Dollar takes you further in general.
Also northern European countries are more expensive (comparable to the US, perhaps a little less) than southern European countries, again in general.

  7. Croatia actually can't be more diverse. In such small area different ecosystems to extent…

  8. My hubs is in the military and stationed in Italy. He goes to Croatia a couple of times each month to SCUBA in their beautiful waters.

  9. As a Croat I appreciate this video. The thing about looking the same applies to our coast. Well you have to know that the coast is heavily influenced by the Roman Empire, plus Venetians, Italy in general and how houses had to be build due to the climate, even though Croatia as a whole had a lot of influences in the past due to certain alliances and others trying to conquer us like the Ottomans (Today Turkey). The coast is totally different from the Eastern part, as well as the Northern part. We are quite tiny but quite diverse when it comes to climate, architecture , just to name a few. Zagreb our capital for example has more of an Austro – Hungarian influence.
Politically and economically we for sure have our flaws, but geographically and culturally we got a little piece of paradise.

Also what I have to say is that it is always sad that most of the videos dont cover the inland, especially the East, the region of Slavonia. Slavonia has so many awesome places as well.

EDIT: Ps. this video was a nice introduction, but there is soo much more to our country, maybe try Geography now ( the part about a particular bridge is outdated and was built now, but it will give you a better and deeper understanding about our history and flora and fauna etc.

  10. Have you ever watched Game of Thrones? Dubrovnik is Kings Landing 😉
Btw you wont get lost 😀

  11. Yep! Went to Croatia in September on a girl's trip. It was amazing and sooooo beautiful, especially Plitvice National park and Opatija. I don't know why, but I'd never considered Croatia before. Now Im telling everyone they should visit 😍

  12. The Republic of Dubrovnik was one of the first states that recognized the USA.

  13. This subscriber from Croatia likes that you commented on my country 🙂 The guys with spears in Split are dressed as Roman soldiers, there for the tourists to have a feel how it was in the ancient days when the city was actually a Roman emperor's Palace. The old building are pure stone. The red tile roofs are a tradition, and no wonder it reminds you of San Diego, the climate and atmosphere of southern California and Croatia are very similar, and there is a big Croatian expat community in San Diego.

  14. Sorry to say, but unlike most Americans we do have time. We have usually a minimum of 25 paid days off additionally to the national holidays.
I don't understand how you can just work, work, work…

  15. Great video 👍 Croatia was a Communist country and president Tito was a nature lover so protected the land and environment so now Croatia is beautiful.

  16. Croatia is really beautiful and only around 7-8hrs driving from Prague… It´s the number 1 destination for Czechs so I hate to admit, that every summer around 1+ million of us head there for holidays, which is good for business but not so much for creating bottlenecks on the way there and back for local towns and cities in Croatia… 🛻🚙🚜🚛🚓🚒🚐

  17. I come from Serbia and I found love of my life in Croatia ❤️ now we are married and have child, but we live in Germany..

  18. There are many videos on YouTube on Croatian cousine and food culture. There also many vlogs on travelling in Croatian inlands.. Geeatings from Croatia

  19. I´m from Germany and if you ever have the chance to visit Europe you want to stay, because its a different lifestyle we work to live and traveling is so cheap and easy from country to country and the chairs and tables you have seen are all around Europe in front of almost every cafe, restaurant and bar to chill outside and enjoy your life with friends and family in your lunchtime, after work or just enjoy your free time ..greetings from Bavaria Germany

  20. Chairs in Zagreb, those are cafes… there's a lot of them. Drinking coffee or tea is a … oh well, you can't sit down and have a coffee under 40 min that's a minimum. 😁
Good video, just… because of Croatia's geography a lot of people see only the coast (it's beautiful I'm not saying it isn't) but the continental part has a lot to offer especially historically (Towns like Ocijek or Varaždin for example).
P.s. if interested in seafood, look for Gordon Ramsay travels to the untouched peninsula of Istria, Croatia.

  21. Croatia is a beautiful and lovely country! The people are nice and the food is good and the best part is that it's only about a 3hr plane ride from where I live!

  22. the famous colosseum isn't in Pula, that's simply another amphitheater, there are hundreds of them across europe and the mediterranean sea. you're probably thinking about the colosseum, the most famous of all, located in rome italy, the capital of the roman empire

  23. 11:16 I can understand your point of view.
but in reality, Croatia is a very small and diverse country, literaly 1hour of driving will get you from snow to beach

  24. Hi @The Demouchets REACT. This particular video was really monotonous and kind of boring. Gareth Leonard filmed some really cool videos of different parts of Croatia and he really explored local people, customs and tried a lot of different FOOD. 😁 Anyway, it's one of the safest countries in Europe for sure so you can really go anywhere at any time and be safe. 😎

  25. Food…. There is a lot of very, very good food in Croatia. Pretty much everything is good, even cheap things like "burek sa sirom" (a ubiquitous cheap but filling pastry made of dough, cheese and oil), which I ate every day in high school. But if it is seafood you want, on the the coast I suggest you find "hobotnica ispod peke", octopus that has been cooked under coals for a couple of hours (even as I'm sorry for the octopus, it is too tasty…). You would likely have to order it a day before. Also, "dagnje na buzaru" (mussels in wine sauce) are much easier to find and also super yummy. Make sure you sop up the sauce with the bread, that's the best bit. Obviously any kind of fish is also good. In Slavonia (the eastern part of the country) you can try "fiš paprikaš", a spicy fish stew. Speaking of bread, it is very much the foundation of most meals, and bakeries are everywhere; try some of the darker, full-grain breads, and if they have other seeds in them, like sunflower, the better.

  26. Vivo en España. Europa es mucho más segura i tranquila.Todo está serca.Puedes andar tranquila en 24por la noche sola.España tiene muy buena política social. Todo ordenado. Limpio Arquitectura fenomenal.Para comida son primeros.Todo es para los gentes.I la medicina es gratis.

  27. MY COUNTRY!!! YEEY FINALLY! I hope you guys can visit one day. Sea food is delicious! All croatian food is yummy! If you know the HBOs series Game Of Thrones are filmed in Dubrovnik. That's why Dubrovnik is the most popular place/town for tourists mostly cuz of that.
