  1. I am getting retired in June 2021 and moving to Windsor Ontario. My first thing was gardening and I really know what to do with you right now. I look forward to be able some gardening ever…….thanks

  2. Hello, very nice and smart garden, i plan to assembly something similar too, but i'm also afraid of pressure for soaker hoses, I would like to know the lenght of soaker hoses and more importantly the type. There are a lot of soaker hoses on the market, but in the US i found some special for rain barrells (rain barrel soaker hose)and generaly for system fed by gravity, which are under low pressure. As long as I am from Slovakia (Europe) and there are just general soaker hoses i wonder if have to manage to buy some from the US, or i can use the clasic one. Thank you very much for answer!

  3. You can increase water pressure by just raising the water barrels up about 6 ft..

The hoses can still touch the ground, if you want them to.. But if it doesn't matter.. You can slope them downwardly, on a slighted angle… And it would give you the maximum amount of water pressure, at the expense of aesthetic displeasure.

  4. Fantastic setup! As far as I know there is only one soaker hose that works with no pressure.. its from Germany and called „CS Perlschlauch drucklos / CS soaker hose pressureless“.. works great! Although it’s advised to put it underground for an inch or two:)

  5. What’s the difference in elevation from cistern to the garden. You mention a “slope”. But how much of a slope ?
