Our front yard has been converted to a delicious lush edible landscape with barbados cherry, grumichima, pomagranate, figs, herbs & seasonal vegetables. Also wife Darcy introduces the chicks!
I have Astralorps & Buff Orpingtons. I don't have a rooster so broody is no thing for me now. (I live in city limits of a small town and have to avoid crowing). Cool stuff.
