Due to its delicate nature, the Japanese Garden in Estate Clingendael is only opn for eight weeks a year. Our visit in spring led to the first edition of the Forest Diaries where we let the beauty of nature inspire us to create the Natural Electronic soundtrack Nature deserves. At the end of the year, in late October, the Japanes Garden opened its gates once again to reveal its autumn colors.
The scene from the pavilion is ever breathtaking with a view of the whole Garden and its reflection in the water. One of the most gorgeous showpieces are the mesmerizing fall colors of the Japanese Maple with its bright red leaves contrasting the grey sky. At its roots, slowly descending, leaves accumulating on the green moss. Golden autumn leaves flaoting on the water and mushrooms in the dark corners completing the serene setting.
For the third edition of the Forest Diaries Japenese Gardenn Harvest Moon edition Musica Celestiale created two delicate compositions as pleasing as the Garden view.

Gentle rain falling from Heaven quenching the summer thirst. Transition from the dry season to winter, autumn the shortest, timeless of seasons. As delicate as the tiny mushrooms scattered on the moss, soft tones of tender sounds float across the darkening sky. Quiet serenity and contemplation slowly bring you to the place where no thoughts come. Evolving meditation like the waving trees following breathing wind. The calm water of the soul reflecting all impressions without clinging. Embedded in wholeness.
The Garden is you.

Autumn Days when darkness slowly crawls forward shortening the days. Time marches on as the first of storms blows the golden leaves from the trees. Life retreats into the protection of the burrow as the last harvest leaves the field. Winter is coming. It is warm inside where the fire lights the perpetual dusk. Falling rain washes the window clean, when a beautiful piano melody fills the room with the sweet embrace of harmony. Temperature is dropping as leaves slowly descending to the ground, but the music is warm and protects against the elements. The cadence of the seasons repeating their tireless dance. This is the rhythm of life. Before you know it autumn will be leaving, so be present to its beauty as long as it lasts.
