Mulching is an important thing in gardening. Yeah raising chickens is a tough but interesting job. Tiny tomato on a bushy plant. It will grow very soon. Did u inspect the cabbage for insects?. Carrots aren't ready yet.

Have you considered trying grow mats in the attic? I find they work quite well for seed-starting.. may solve the low temperature problem you’re having.
