Garden Tour October Tree Planting | Fall 2022

I feel like I do as much planting in the Fall as I do in the spring, from putting peony roots in the ground to getting trees and shrubs settled before winter this past month has been BUSY!

So I thought we’d take an autumn tour while looking at some trees that were recently planted or relocated. I have been amazed at how beautiful the beds still look, the roses and dahlias are just amazing for this time of year.

If you’re just finding me, I am a floral designer who is creating a bountiful garden that I cut freely from and my goal in all my plant pairings and color combinations is to create living, growing floral designs.

  1. Thanks for taking us on a tour. It really looks amazing. It’s hard to move trees and shrubs around, but it’s better than letting them stay in the wrong place until you don’t have the option to move them. I loved seeing your planting plans. Yay for adding more peonies this Fall. I look forward to seeing the greenhouse videos.

  2. The Tiger Rose Japanese Maple is amazing I love it!!! It's def a beautiful addition to that space , the color against the black fence! I love!

  3. The grasses outside the fence are gorgeous! I think I am looking forward to seeing your greenhouse as much as you are – but then I'm not doing any of the work involved! I hope the process goes smoothly for you, and you get all the help you need – that's a huge job!

  4. It's looking great! Filling in nicely and I see your vision taking shape. I'm a little jealous…not gonna lie.

  5. We finally decided to pay true-green to do our lawn and shrub fertilization/seeding/aeration etc. It took about 2 seasons to recover from being mostly dollar weed to being actual grass. It's worth it.
