Hello! Have you had night frosts? I thought that they come to you later. thank you for the great recommendations👌🌻🐦🐩🐾
Jenny, which slippers are you using? I’m in the need for some new ones.
Looks fantastic
Good morning, Jenny ☕️I love Fall however, not the leaf 🍁 cleanup! I have Oak trees 🌳 that hold onto their leaves for the longest time and they get stuck in all my shrubs. Takes so long to clean them up. Your Lantana is unbelievable 😳🙌🏻 I wish they came back up here zone 6 Boston. Have a Blessed Day 😊
I totally understand the neater look needed in the fall! Looks so much better for none crazy look. Lol less burnt busy is the term I use!
I too love fall clean up! 2 questions… How is it going with the dodder (sp) in your veggie beds? Also, do you mulch the cottage garden? If so, do you spread
compost over the mulch or move it out of the way before spreading it? I guess that was 3 questions lol!
Great job Jenny 💕 enjoy your date night 💕
Jenny, there was a 20’+ loropetalum at the front/side of our house when we bought it three years ago. You couldn’t get around that side of the house because of it so we limbed it up into a tree form and I love it! It has great architectural structure, we placed a swing under its shade, added a path and now have a beautiful little shade garden where once there was a beast bush.
I put my garage bed to rest yesterday 😪 . Satisfying and heartbreaking at the same time. My lab is happy to be getting her yard back ☺️
14:45 my brain always tells me I can do more than what I really can too haha.-Cara
We really haven’t had a hard freeze yet here in Raleigh. I’ve started my clean up but so many plants are still full in blooming. I’m still picking up acorns before all the leaves fall so I can mulch them. I have to pick my battles as well😉Brenna is such a good girl! Enjoy your date night!
This is one of my favorite videos from you! Lots of good chuckles on your behalf. Thanks for keeping it real 😍
😄 You're so funny (salvia)! Cleaning up that bed would be peaceful to the mind for me. It looks nice and tidy. Regarding the kniphofia, do you cut that back to the ground like the daylillies? I have some for the first time this year and I'm not sure what to do with it. Thanks
Love a good fall garden cleanup!!!
Love your “piddling” comment…we call it “Puttering”.. I like yours better😂
17:30 made me chuckle😂 I love cleanup time in our garden, we all need rest and so do our plants. But it is definitely hardwork! Thank you for bringing us along🌱💕
We always think we can get every thing on our lists done the same days. Well at 71 I’m just thankful I can get half the list done. Take care Jenny and enjoy those date nights.
Jenny,
For the 1st time ever I'm dealing w/ deer in the garden. They seem to relish basil. Thanking I might be able to rescue some by rooting/planting it inside, I brought in several sprigs…..only to discover than one of my sweet kitties likes basil even better than cat grass! 😆😆😆
Futzin’ = Pidlin’
Amazing garden 👌🍃🤍
Hey Jenny. Do you still plan to take out the raised bed that had the dodder issue earlier this year
SO WEIRD THAT I AM 40 MIN AWAY, WE GOT A FROST BUT NOTHING GOT ZAPPED. IT SURE DID GET YOURS THOUGH. NICE TO SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND WITH MY FRIED CATHERINE.
Will any of those annuals self seed next spring?
I do the exact same thing! I think I can do sooo much and in reality I get about 1/8 of it done.
Jenny, appreciate you knowledge sharing and acknowledgment clean-up (like all gardening) is a multi-step project. Thank you
Hi, i was wondering what the tag said for Miss Huff growth. My Proven Winners Lantana are only 2 by 2 growth. I suppose there are many types. I live in so calif 9b. My Lantanas do super well here
