Building the Chicken Run and Prepping the Garden

We are getting settled in! Check out how we built our chicken run and prepared the ground for our new fall garden. We are hoping to build some garden beds in the future, but for now we are gardening directly in the ground. This takes a lot of work preparing the soil. First I had to till the soil and then amend it with all of the good nutrients and amendments that it would need so that the vegetable crops will grow. We also experimented with walking the chickens on our new chicken leashes!
