We also start our first garden since we became nomads and started traveling full-time. Find out what our plans are for the future of DestinationOpenRoad and if we will be continuing our travels.

We are a couple traveling full-time through out the USA. We live full time in our Heartland Big Country 29.50 5th wheel. Older video’s show our adventures when we lived in our truck camper for 5 years. The move up to the 5th wheel has been an exciting move and our life style has changed just a little over the years of being on the road, all for the better! Have some fun and step back in time to when we first started our nomadic life style and then come join us as we continue to post video’s here on YouTube and on Patreon.

  1. I'm so happy you staying there at Ausia's. Makes me so excited. Lot's of work but it sure pays off. Stay safe, be blessed, and sending hugs, love and blessing to ya'll from West Texas.

  2. Awesome! You’re gonna be my neighbors. I’ve met you briefly at the RTR the year before the fairgrounds. I left today with my motorhome never to return it to my property. You know why I’m sure.

  3. In todays economy more and more nomads are settling down, cant blame them but the scenery is what I liked

  4. Chicken is hot not cow
Stay warm y'all.. Tell Dave we've had a cpl of cold snaps here as well..

  5. Cow manure is fine. It will be mixed in with the dirt. The plants will do well. Chicken poo on the other hand will burn for weeks. You put that in and leave the ground empty for weeks. Yes you have a lot of amazing friends who are family.

  6. That's a great-looking garden and an awesome group of friends. You are truly blessed. Stay safe.😊

  7. I LOVE YOUR IDEA OF SITTING FOR A BIT . AND HOMESTEADING. YOU KNOW I WANT TO TELL YOU AGAIN I ADORE YOU TWO AS A COUPLE. YES I KNOW WE ALL ARGUE.
IN CASE YOU FORGOT I AM NOT YELLING AT YOU. BECAUSE OF CAPITALS. CAN'T SEE LIL LETTERS. . HAVE MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND EPILEPSY. OPTIC NEURITIS. IS ICK . STAY SAFE PLEASE. MANY BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU AND PRAYERS. HUGGIES KATHLEEN-ANN

  8. I’ve been watching a lot of homestead videos. After they plant the onions and garlic they cover the whole bed in a good layer of straw. It helps hold water in and gives it insulation against the cold.

  9. Green Acres is the place to be.
Farm livin' is the life for me.
Land spreadin' out so far and wide
Keep Washington, just give me that countryside

  10. Hi Guys, the bible tells us that we are tillers of the soil, just like our brother Noah was! You have now officially been Christianized as such! I'm lifting your garden up to our Father and am asking that your soil be blessed just like Ausia's is. We ask for all blessings in the holy name of Jesus. Be prosperous and multiply! Congratulations on your new land and enjoy your up coming garden. Hugs to all, Louise

  11. Hi you guys! What I know about gardening you could fit into one of those little onion holes. Although I do know Solar. We upgraded to 600 Ah in our cargo trailer conversion and love having the peace of mind. Congratulations on your upgrade. We are chomping at the bit to get back on the road and hoping this looming diesel shortage doesn’t steal that opportunity from us. Diesel affects everything including gasoline and food.
One day I am hoping that our paths will cross and we wish you the best in your travels. We’ve been down the highway near “The Property” about a year ago and I know it is getting to be cold in that area. Stay warm and safe.
