    I was so disappointed in the garden this year everything is finished now we had lots of wind and alternate hot cold spells tomatoes were disaster just with rust and blight I gave up . Zucchini and cucumber badly affected by mildew will clean up and get some silverbeet you call it Swiss chard growing for the winter and some spinach hope my miners lettuce comes up and my NZ spinach. .. envy your garden😆

    Hey Robbie, nice to see you doing this vlog. I'm waiting for some seedlings to appear from beans, peas and peppers I direct sowed around my tomatoes. Glad I have tulle and those wire baskets ready to protect them when they show up. Looking forward to your tomato frame project. I have alot of stakes, zip ties and masking tape ready too!. 😊

    And people pay hundreds of dollars a pound for insect frass. I do the same thing with my mosquito water, though generally I dump before I see any larvae. Maybe I should resist dumping for a day or two lol.

    when your composting in place can you use rotten potatoes in the bottom of your buckets are totes as long as you put more dirt and stuff over it ? Thank you very much . Somebody told me no, said my seeds would
    Rotten and not grow 🤷.

    This is the second year my zucchinis have failed (had two mediumish fruits). The embryo fruits turn yellow and drop off. I add loads of compost to my soil/totes and I even used lime this year to make sure that there is enough calcium (and yes I have plenty of bees and ants in the garden) in the soil. So disappointing : (
    It's autumn now and it's getting quite cool in the evenings so I suppose it's time to pull em up for this year.

    I put my totes on cinder blocks. They drain well, are temporarily out of reach for our new Yellow Labrador puppy, and are easier to reach. We get so much rain here around New Orleans! Had 3" Tuesday, expecting another 2-3"tonight and tomorrow. Love your videos 💞😍!

    What do you do with all the tote lids? I heard you could secure foam on them and kneel for your gardening when weeding. Anything else?

    I love to see you graft the apple tree. I have a neighbor that has an old fashion apple tree, Wolf River, apples can weigh as much as a pound, that I want but, don't know how to go about grafting. If you can find such a tree, they sell, starting at 33.00, cuttings from my neighbor's tree would be free!
