Container Gardening Fall Vintage Containers

In this video, I have located a company that makes planter liners to size for old planter frames / holders. I used windowbox.com as the source for these new liners. It was very difficult to find a 30x6x6 planter in my local area. This company is a great resource for replacement planters. In each planter I put a combination of red/white kale and some pansies called, “Apple Cider Mix.”

  1. I get squirrels digging in my pots too 🙁 , so I lay flat rocks 3-4” in size on top of the soil. It seems to work well, keeps the soil moist longer, and the plants don’t get dirt splatter from rain and watering. Those pointy sticks do make me smile, though, as a good deterrent!

  2. I'm glad that you were able to find liners for your planters. Thank you for sharing the name of the company that you ordered from. They turned out beautiful!
