Buying a New KitchenAid Dishwasher at Lowe's | Final Container Garden Update | What's up Wednesday!

Today we are visiting Lowe’s to buy a new KitchenAid dishwasher and faucet for the new house. We were having trouble finding the best dishwasher for our needs. The movers will be here on Friday and we are preparing for their arrival. Join us for a final container garden update before the move! We are growing tomatoes and peppers in containers this year. Also, Amy asks for your tips on how to move the plants to the new house. What’s up Wednesday! I hope you have a great day!

  1. Beautiful havest! My peppers haven't come out yet 🙁 And my tomatoes are beginning to get red, the cherry ones…the others need to grow some more…you are so lucky, they are so delicious when you grow them at home! thank you for the video!

  2. To transport I have done this. Take some nylon clothesline and wrap from the bottom up. You may have to trim the runners. Then wrap a sheet or tarp around the plant. Hope this helps!

  3. Best dishwashers ever! Mom had a 1980’s Superba for years. Just replaced back in 2018 when they did a whole kitchen remodel. After being used for over 30 years all that was wrong was the racks were starting to rust. She used it 3/4 times a week too. Amazing! Of course she went with all kitchen aid again.

We used a kitchen aid in our house. Quietest qishwahser ever. Hated the Bosch in old place.

  4. Is your new house in the same growing zone as your old house? Please share Eric’s combination soil that produces all the great veggies! Thank you.

  5. Hi Amy & Eric!!! I liked the video. Nice dishwasher. I'm sure you guys will have a great garden at your new place. Bet you will be glad when everything is all at the new house. Looking forward to seeing what you do to the new house!!! Have a wonderful day my friends!!!

  6. Indeterminate tomatoes, like what you have, are vining plants. What I do when all the cherry tomatoes are ripe, is just pick them, wash them and toss them into a ziplock bag and freeze them. You can do that with regular tomatoes as well. When I get time or want to make a sauce, just thaw them out and toss them in a pan and have at it. Very nice in the winter to get that fresh taste. You can move those plants – just gently tie them up and haul them to wherever you want them 🙂 You may lose a few branches but you will still get a lot of tomatoes. Good luck and water those babies! 🙂

  7. you are getting the most expensive of everything.. Jealous I am. YouTube must be profitable. I am going to have to reconsider doing YouTube:)

  8. GREAT PRODUCT CHOICE ON THE KOHLER FAUCET AND KITCHEN AID DISHWASHER, I WOULD PUT THE PLANTS IN THE TRUCK, WATER THEM, AND HEAD TO THE NEW LOCATION BUT HARVEST ALL FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FIRST 🫖

  9. You live in a commercial kitchen! Dishwasher looks great. Love that glass washing rack. I'm in the market for one too and I hate my kitchen faucet. The peppers!! We had so many plants when we moved to our house. Once the movers had loaded the truck they put as many of the big pots on that would fit in the truck. After that we made a couple of more trips to bring as many others as we could. We may have only left a couple of half wine barrels with a Tipuana tree in one and a climbing rose in another. That was twenty years ago today! So excited for you guys.

  10. Best of luck, your plants look awesome. If your not able to take all of your plants you know the new owners will appreciate them. While you have Erick, that will give you another veggie garden soon enough, LOL! Try to rest when possible, I'm so excited for you. Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trips, hugs!
