you homestead is lookin mighty fine gal
imagine what it will look like in another 2 years "awesome"
you real bring home the cookies…….Ed

  2. i would leave the garage same color as the house. or if you want it to be different, maybe a medium blue or sage green

  3. Don't drink the tea! 😂
Your place is just breathtaking and you are certainly keeping the pollinators happy. Would love to be sitting next to you on that porch with a hot cup of (bug-free) tea and just rocking and listening to the rain. I vote for a beautiful barn red on that shop. The only thing that could have improved this video would have been the guy dancing to the music he had no clue would be accompanying his work. Nice choice.

We had some cats that simply wouldn't get along. We bought some calming collars and tried some of Feliway's products and it worked out great. I just keep a little bottle of the spray now but it's rarely needed. If they could come up with a product to keep bantam roos from desiring to aerate my shins on the daily, I'd be all set.

  4. That is so funny – I had a walking stick on my planter this week too. Fall always goes too quickly before the rains come to bring down the beautiful leaves. As far as paint colors go I would say whatever goes with the roof. Pick out some paint samples and hold them up to it on a sunny day. Personally I like burgundy red or light olive greens to either contrast or blend into the woods behind it.

  5. Your videos are so pretty Kaye. I really do enjoy them. You have an eye for color and putting your videos together. I don’t know what’s that called, but you got it…in my opinion. Must be the actress in you, that Art, when used for good comes out. Your Homestead is just beautiful, your colors for flowers perfect. Thanks Kaye. And hugs and Great big petting to your kitties! I love cats, their softness & beauty with their white spotted fur. They seem very content living on the Homestead and I bet they keep the mice away too! Good working cats….♥️👍

  6. You already have the best color combination for a house (yellow with white trim) and you have a garage to match. Why would you ever change that?

  7. Hi Kaye !! I have a ton of stuff to do and I say to that I can do that tomorrow and it just keeps building up on me. Love the sound of rain so peaceful. Great video my friend. God Bless ❤❤

  8. Thats a really neat machine but for next time for removing trees.

Cut off all the small branches in winter(no leaves to feel sorry for) leaving the main pole…sometimes may be 20 or 30 feet up… Then attach 2 thichish ropes at the top.

Dig out the earth with trowl around base and axe cut all around with piece taken out if tree is larger and has a tap root.
Then with the ropes pull it down .Even oak and beech or acacia(huisatché) become easy.

If you do have a stump cover it with earth and plant bizzy lizzies every year as they seed themselves ank look sooo nice …..
    Great machine tho' .
    Hello's from the U.K. …Homesteader.

  9. That was a huge walking stick! Amazing how much we have advanced from the old days. That machine took out the stumps like nothing. Kitties are so cute. 💕 Thank you for sharing the peacefulness of the rain from the porch. Hope you have a wonderful day.

  10. For sharing your beautiful garden with us I love all the beautiful flowers hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie hope I can come and check out some more of your garden Because I always love a good garden video

  11. re the workshop color. I think I would pick a safe blending color that will meld into the forest behind it. You know, a color not easily seen from the road? Im guessing your rain will hit Northern VA this weekend.
