A very simple wicking air pruning pot. I just used an old shopping bag and tub. This is really simple and easy to do. Instead of just sitting the bag in a tub and putting water around it, the bag is sitting on wet sand thus keeping the potting mix/soil out of the water but still allowing it to wick. Being in an old shopping bag the roots will air prune too. Air pruning will really promote healthy feeder root growth and prevent the plant from becoming root bound as happens in solid container gardening.
