In this video, I use inexpensive items from the thrift store, paper, yarn, poster board, things from my yard, and even empty soda cans to create budget friendly and adorable Christmas decor. These items include bleached pinecones and pinecone/spindle angels, spindle snowmen, a wall-sized snowflake, a bird and branch shelf sitter, large triangular ornament, soda can mini trees, Christmas carol candle stands, yarn trees, a thrift store clock turned wall diorama, and 3-D dome ornaments.

    When my sons were small one yr I squirreled away some tax $ and gave them a really present filled Christmas . So much so I don’t even remember (and I bet they don’t either) what they got. For Years I’ve been wanting to go somewhere for Christmas ( anyone seen Christmas with the Kranks with Tim Allen ) and when I brought it up it’s no we need the gifts and decor . My oldest off doing his own thing but youngest 19 now wants gift cards and I’m still wishing for that experience I may never get : ( But at least each payday now I’ll get another gift card of his fav places ( game stop, Amazon , Barnes and noble) . I once did a wallet of gift cards – my sons first wallets – they thought that was fun.

    I love what you made and have watched it several times, I love the Christmas trees and the spindle snowmen and want to make them. Could you tell me what mm the wooden ball is? Also how long are the spindles and what size are the blocks? I have all three items in my Amazon cart but not sure about the sizes. Very cute Christmas Decor! Bravo! Jill

Ihave had several foods that took out most of my craft books and supplies in the last few years but I am finally getting back to remaking my craft room and getting my daughter and her girls back into the craft crazies. Can't wait till it is done. I wonder if you could tell me what the tool you use to cut the twigs with is? It's in this video at time stamp 19:55. I have Seen it in a few of your videos but cannot figure out what it is. It looks perfect for cutting correct angles. Hope to hear back because I would love to find out where to get one.
