  1. Love your simple direct way of teaching and sharing knowledge! Do you stake your lilies or do you plan to stake those 5 footers around grandma's chair?

  2. Omg! Your videos are so……addictive? Informative! Beautiful to watch! Thank you so much for all the time and care you give to everyone! Now to salivate over lilies.

  3. Hey Danielle, if you enjoy the Eastern Moon, you should look for Beijing Moon and Silk Moon. I also love my Silk Road and Royal Sunset. My Silk Road is at least 6-7 ft tall now, lots of blooms, and perfumes the air.

  4. You are the loveliest flower in your garden! I’d love to know the color & brand of your lipstick, so pretty.

  5. Great video as always! I am never disappointed by your videos they are always full of knowledge and information that I love listening to. Good luck with all your beautiful lilies! I have not grown many lilies. My gardens are in partial shade so I am going to try but not sure how much luck I will have.

  6. I grew lilies for the first time last year in one gallon containers, they were leggy and I didn't think that they would make it. To my surprise, they bloomed so beautifully! My mother -in -law passed away last year and I gave them away to close family members who really loved them it was a token of appreciation! I am going to grow them again this year. Thank you, for all the different varieties, I didn't know existed.

  7. This was so informative, thank you Danielle. I have some lilies growing but do not remember the varieties. Looking forward to seeing yours in bloom.

  8. I have planted a lot of lilies in my garden but the wild rabbits eat them all and NONE come up – SO frustrating! Would love to hear your suggestions to prevent rabbits going crazy in my garden!!!

  9. Congratulations to the winner of the Lilies. I love your channel as well. Your Garden is beautiful. I love the sentiment/tribute to your Master Gardner Grandmother with her knowledge, experience, through genes, blood whatever it may have been was passed to you through your own trial and tribulations to share with all of us. I look forward to your videos. Thank you and your Grandmother, bless her soul. I am sure she is in your Garden with you daily.

  10. Oh my. BAD Daniellle ;). Love the scent of lilies but never thought to grow them for myself. Now, thanks to your last two great videos, I am frantically looking for lily bulbs. Sigh….another flower to add to my planting list

  11. I love Forever Susan, a striking asiatic lily with maroon center and orange edges. It has done well for me in the garden and looks great in a warm colored border. I don't know how it does as a cut flower. It could be interesting in one of your dark compositions.

  12. Forgot to add: I have a very acute sense of smell and Casa Blancas are too much for me indoors, but in the garden it's great to smell their perfume wafting on the breeze. And they look gorgeous.

  13. Danielle, I just LOVE your videos! I always learn something from you. Thank you for the fabulous content. It is truly so, so helpful! (from an aspiring flower farmer!)

  14. I went to WalMart today and my eye was captured by a pkg of light colored lilies– I read the tag and it was Salmon Star — I just had to get them after hearing you took about them.

  15. Totally lovin this video. You keep me wondering what you are going to be working on next. WELL DONE!!!

  16. I have eyeliner lilies they are amazing. White with black eyeliner on the edges. they are about 4 ft in my yard. I love them! Also a couple years ago I have some lilies that had Hawaii colors ( pink, yellow, orange, coral etc). I had some pocket gophers came through and ate everyone of them. Now I'm on the lookout again for those this year.

  17. Thank you for all the information. I had no idea there were so many lily categories. I'm new to lily's and a bought five varieties last winter. Sorbonne, Litouwen, Brindisi and Menorca. I planted a lot of them in the wrong place because I moved into a new home and didn't account for the shaded corners so I look forward to seeing them preform this year in new locations. If you are looking for more peach colours I can highly recommended Menorca! It's a peachy yellow with a very soft transition and an unusual and beautiful colour. It is an L.A. lily hybrid – which I just learned means Asiatic & Longiflorum.

  18. So After watching this video I went out yesterday and bought the lilies you described. I had been eyeing them for months I expected a bad review from you but when I heard that you liked them that’s all I needed πŸ˜‰. Now I can’t wait to plant them. Must I wait until the soil warms up?

  19. I’d love to start growing some of the large, fragrant lilies, but the deer in my area are unrelenting. Do you think I could successfully plant them as perennials in large pots? I’m in zone 6 and they generally seem to be hardy to zone 4, which is why I even thought to ask. I’d love to know your thoughts. ☺️

  20. I’m wondering if your beautiful Lillie’s are bothered by the terrible, voracious, Lilly beetle.
If so, how did you rid your gardens of them?

  21. You are going to love Regale!! It has a fantastic scent. You have made some excellent choices in lilies. πŸ™‚
