Awesome video! Thank you for creating and sharing! I've always had a hard time starting from seed but this makes it seem much easier than they way I was doing it
Hey Elise! Can we direct sow here in FL? Or is it significantly better to start inside?
Hi Catherine, it wont show your comment maybe privacy settings? Anyhow the difference you were asking about is direct sow (straight in the garden) vs indirect sow (start in trays first). Some plants are more "needy" and will benefit from starting in trays so they can be babied a little more and potted up. Tomatoes and eggplants are ones that benefit from starting in trays. Many other crops can be started directly in the garden. Hope this helps!
Do you follow the same for everglades tomoate or you can do direct sow? Is it ok to plant them now?
Are tomatillos treated the same way as tomatoes?
So is it the right time for this now? Or do I wait til Jan/Feb like you did?
I love your guide. Just took it to the farm and garden store with me. Now I just need to create a list of seed varietals.
Glad to hear I can still start seeds I February!
We always picked tomatoes in June in Ruskin, FL. So I always just think they grow in the summer! Haha ! Funny how your memory from a kid stays with you! So those tomatoes in Ruskin that we picked as kids were planted in February?! Wow! I had no idea. Good thing you are here to teach me!
Hello. So do you leave them outside by saying indirect sunlight or should I put it in the house under the window?

Hi ππΌ Iβm just saw this video. I live in south Florida. Can I do it now from seeds? Where can I buy them ?
If I decide to buy the plant π± where can I find an organic version ? Please help! First time planting tomatoes π thanks so much! Love your videos
I just found your page a few days ago and have been watching so many of your videos! Do you think it's too late to start tomato seeds indoors under a grow light?
Helpful thanks!!!
So what happens if you plant during the summer anyway? How about shade cloth? Is there ways to make it work? Central / SW Florida here
