McDonald's leave its home state it was made in California in fresno
Yo, i was at McDonald's recently and a big Mac (just the sandwich) was like $6.50. This is in Chicago, where the minimum wage is also $15, like in LA
Joe’s perspective has never been one on the side of the common man when it comes to wages and business. He really believes it’s 16 year olds SOLELY working at McDonalds. He literally complains about California rent prices and expects people to afford to live on $15 an hour. Sometimes their takes are so separated from reality I feel lost when I watch the videos.
Patrick needs to be around more, he’s cool HAHA.
I need my booty creamed.
Gavin nuisance! Haha!
You really don’t think a McDonald’s can pay a full staff $22…. They make $400 per employee per hour lmao
All this “inflation” is corporations raising prices to make up for Covid.
McDonald’s would never miss out on cali dollars
California is hyper capitalistic.
You might think it’s woke, but it’s perception. There’s alot of cool people, but it’s capitalism
I can see the only way to make it work if like u get a job in Cali but live next to it if I make sense. Finding a place that will next to Cali for work n make money that way
hey where did joe get that jean kimono?
6:30 the unfiltered sadness from Joe shows how valuable McD is to him
Lmao this one was great
just get ready for the new deal. the 2 for $10 sausage egg mcmuffin
bro if macd decides to leave cali, another fking riot is happening
people are fuckin stupid. when the product is cheap and the employees get paid 22. profit margins aren't their. the more you get paid. the more shit cost. so it all evens out. your making more nd your paying more
Opinions about working class people coming from a bunch of multi millionaires lol
This is how "Miso Robotics" gets a Mcdonalds partnership.
Dont forget it's always a domino effect. Should have minimum wage in the first place.
I miss those cheap McDonalds burgers. We'd stock up on those in the freezer.
The people who want higher minimum wage will get zero wage after being replaced by robots & AI. Keep it up!
Prices never go up when ceo's make money but an hourly employee makes money hey prices have to go up and then their value to company is in questions lol
I stopped watching a while ago…. were they always this right wing? They seem to want to look left, but are underlying right
What about the people that has been there for years do they get the pay bump
At south lake Tahoe California its $18.
Yo okay so I don't know but when inflation I didn't understand it fully I knew it but I didn't feel it until holy s*** If a McDonald's freaking cashier register person is making 22 bucks an hour they were already making 15 16 an hour That's a lot cuz they're not used to work at a restaurant it was 11 bucks an hour okay great Cool whatever that was how long ago was that that was 8 9 years ago I don't know It wasn't too long ago but totally how much is things costing then because if if you're getting paid so much more for you know minimum wage job then what is what is the price of you know everyday essentials now
What people also don’t realize is that every time minimum wage “increases”, it only benefits new employees hired AFTER the raise. Those who were already there don’t get that. This is why we have people working at fast food or the grocery industry for like 20+ years barely making what people today make doing the same job or less…When I started working at a grocery story in high school, minimum wage was $7 and I think 11 cents..I was making $7.25/hr..this was in September of 2014, by November 2018 when I left, I just made it to $11.50(I left literally like a week or 2 after getting a 25 cents raise) so I only had like 2 paychecks at that amount. This is why employers don’t like employees discussing pay. By the time I left freshly new hired cashiers were already making more than me and that wasn’t even counting the raise after the 3 month probationary, the raise If you were transferred to a different department, and the raise every year or 2(can’t remember how often it increased). Also $22/hr working fast food is wild to me especially when I know many people who work in maintenance for luxury buildings that don’t even make that much. In fact, there are many in white and blue collar jobs, that don’t make that much. So whether they raise it or not, it won’t be fair to a group of people not matter what.
All y'all soundin like some proper bombers right here…these big corporations fast food joints need to make space for some mom n pop spots. Especially cuz mickyDs be out here funding private prisons, I'm surprised even Joe was on the side of the "Man" smFh..disappointed.
Big L for California
This is the best episode I’ve seen in hella long! And being from California they ain’t wrong!
There are no solutions to problems, only trade offs.
Wanna talk about giving a raise to people that multitask? The median hourly wage for 911 dispatchers is $20… Think about that for a second.
have pat on more
Go woke go broke! If you are tired of democratic policies then you need to vote a republican in but California never will and this is what y’all deserve! Texas is going great, Florida is doing even better😂 California will eventually just be a state full of drug addicts and criminals with million dollars in taxes per person
Anthony had me dying 6:49
😅😂
dude thats a crazy amount. but then again its expensive af to live in california
Can somebody link to that video where the papa John's guy is calling a person stupid for saying the whole pizza is to fat and papa John says who's eating pizzas that way? This is the 2nd or 3rd time I hear about this on jk news and I couldn't find it anywhere in Google
Fast food is entry level work for kids not a profession. If it goes up to $22 expect layoffs, automation, and food prices to rise.
Should I just quit school and just work at a fast food chain? Like what's the point in me wasting my time in classes to get a degree or license while Mcdonalds is trying to raise minimum wage. Sorry, but I don't see how that's fair
