#NationalGardeningWeek #eccentricnature #herbs
I’m taking part in a collaboration as part of National Gardening Week 2019. The theme this year is Homegrown food. Edible Britain. So I’m talking a little bit about why I started growing herbs and plants. Plus a couple tips on herb growing.

The collaboration was started by Erica of Erica’s Little Welsh Garden and Liz Zorab – Byther Farm YouTube channels.

  1. I had a 16×16 garden plot till they banned front yard gardens in Tampa, so I started growing frankincense & myrrh and started a YouTube channel a couple years back. And go figure, low and behold they lifted the ban so I need to get busy!😉👍

  2. Good morning Eric, you are my wake up video today. I have only grown herbs out side. Good to know about starting them in the colder weather. I have lots of plants in the house but no herbs. I think that should be my next adventure. Happy National Gardening Week to you too.💕 NonnaGrace

  3. The orchids were so pretty. No pets or no garden would really be a downer for me. I would need to have at least some parsley and rosemary. You had some good tips. Thank you.

  4. Erick, thank you for an excellent video! You're on the right path – "grow what you can where you can" or "grow where you are planted" (neither of which I can claim credit for). Very good tips as well! Keep it up – you are going places (already doubled your subs since I found you and I predict more to come based on your entertaining & informative style).

  5. Thank you! Great that you are enjoying your herbs and the orchids. When we moved here my mum looked after my orchids – and put them in her conservatory so half have died – but shhhh don't tell her I told you! I do hope you get your dream home and garden eventually. And are they quilty wall hangings behind you?

  6. I'm a huge herb and orchid fan. Thanks so much for this lovely video Erick. It just goes to show that we can garden in the smallest of spaces. Good luck in the hunt for your next home 🙂

  7. great little video on herbs, hello just joined your channel, i have been gardening for many years but just getting into growing veggies and things.

  8. What fun! I wish it was like that here in the US. There a very few things that bring us together in this country; usually it's calamity…sigh.
I pray you are soon able to get a place with plenty of land for decent garden and pets to roam and frolic
