Overgrown SIDEWALK Hasn't Been EDGED In Years | Let's CUT & PEEL

I found this home that had some overgrown sidewalks and decided to clean them up for the owner. The sidewalk hasn’t been edged in years. I restored them to perfection by using my Stihl KM131R curved shaft edger to cut the edge and shoveled the overgrowth away. I then blew the dirt out of the channels to give the sidewalks and pathways the cleanest, crispiest edges that could be spotted from a mile away. I hope you enjoy this video. If this is your first time, please consider subscribing to the channel. Thank you and have a great day!

  1. You do your job so well! You are an amazing person! I never have to question whether or not your videos will be satisfying and great because they always are! God Bless!

  2. It is soo strange while watching all the lawn channels, like yours, how different states are in regard tothe yard 'waste'! Here in RI, you can only use paper bags or garbage barrels. As for branches, we have to cut and tie them no longer then 4ft. We have the pickup the same day our garbage is put out. we also have a time period. In April they start picking it up and in the end of November they stop. I see in Florida, they can just pile branches on the street and they will come around anytime. Now I see you can use plastic bags… I wonder how many other states take the yard waste, if that is what it is called.

  3. Fill do you have a compost company too? You might be giving away $$$ to the land fill.

  4. The edging makes a big beautiful difference. You do a fine job. God bless ❤️🙏🙏👍👍❤️

  5. This was great. . .definitely my favorite. . Would love to see some shrub trimming as well. .

  6. Nice work and thanks for sharing! I was a parks gardener for the City of San Jose for 20 years and also did this kind of work.

  7. Here in Northern Indiana I like to have it edged nicely especially going into winter because it makes a easier time for the snow blower. Well Done, Fill.

  8. Do you ever use the old "half moon" edging spade anymore. when i was at horticultural school in UK that was all we used, ( it was in the 80s though)

  9. Excellent job, as usual, Fill. I always wonder why these types of channels hardly ever use polypropylene bags? They are reusable and last forever, and would be much cheaper than using black plastic bags in the long run. AP (of Clean The City) uses them but I can't recall any other channels that do.

  10. Shouldn't the city maintain the sidewalks and curb? The city should pay him for doing this.

  11. Well, not sure about 'nice and clean' – does look 'nice and neat.' After a few heavy rains, that will wash away most of the dirt on the cement, it will look nice and clean.
