It is a little late, but I finally got my garlic planted, plus had some time to tuck in some lily bulbs and some orlaya seeds.

  1. Good luck, they are going to be fine! Since it is so late I am going to wait as you recommend and start mine next year. This will be my first time planting garlic. I was like leave the dahlia tuber in so you can get a surprise flower next year ๐Ÿ˜Š Love your videos.

  2. I pulled up the last of my zinnias, too. Not much in bloom in my garden except for the roses, vinca, marigolds, and the salvia. Oh, can't forget about the butterfly milkweed. New leaves and flowers are growing back already on the stalks that the last group of monarch larva/caterpillars devoured! We're seeing a whole new group of monarch butterflies on the milkweed, so maybe, we'll see another crop of cocoons before winter. I'll have to check out those rose lily bulbs at Lowes. They would make a nice addition to my garden.

  3. Hope the dahlias do come back to life! Love the lilies you planted. I think I took a break this last month just from the strain of keeping things alive this summer. ๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™m so not looking forward to winter but I am excited to see what you have planned. I will miss my gardening.
