Container Gardening

Container Garden First Harvest of the Year | Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, and Anaheim | Small Gardening

Join us for our Container Garden First Harvest of the Year! We planted tomatoes, bell peppers, Anaheim peppers, and thyme in containers on our deck. This might be a small garden but it produces a lot of food! With a few plants, we have vegetables all summer long! Small gardening in containers is a great way to learn to grow food especially if you have plans to move up to a house with land. You will learn the basics that you can apply when you have more space. Plus…you can actually grow a lot even on your deck or patio!

  1. Beefsteaks grow kinda funny sometimes, tasty though! You could make great spicy stuffed peppers with some of that. The crops that are coming in look wonderful. I planted tomatoes, plum and grape, and other than my herbs I haven't done much. What are you dying to tell us that you're about to come out with it twice during this video, Amy? Big things? I won't say it because obviously you're not ready to spill yet but I have my suspicions so I am sending you good thoughts and good vibes that everything goes as it should.

  2. I'm so happy you're going to get garden space in your new home!!🌻🐞💕✌

  3. Your capsicums look delicious (that's what we call peppers in Australia,) they so glossy fanastic green thumb looking forward to seeing more of your delicious edible garden

  4. This was a great video. I started container gardening and so far everything is great. Your garden is really inspiring.

  5. The best way to know if pepper is ripe enough to pick is to lift the whole pepper opposite it grows. If it is time to pick, the handle or whatever the name is will snap and break off the stem by itself.

  6. Wow! Huge Plants! I’m hoping mines will be like yours!

They’re almost as tall as corn stalks!

    Nice Amy & Eric!
