This UNDERGROUND DISCOVERY could help save our MANOR!

Luke enlists the help of some experts and then heads off into the woods to see if he can find something very valuable. Later he meets up with Ben to see how the beavers are getting on.

  1. The etymology of finial is mid 15th century french meaning putting an end to or binding. A variant of final. Good luck with your finial repair. Love truffles. White truffle oil adds so much delicious flavor to food. Heavenly stuff.

  2. Some more common truffle nicknames are fragrant diamond, black pearl, shadowy lady, or even underground empress. For many people, especially someone growing up in America, black gold is used as a nickname for oil.

  3. Oh, how i hate hate hate click bait. wow so many truffles. ugh. maybe yall know why they are valuable but many of us dont other than its about haute cuisine. educate if you are going to present something. i love the beavers they are a great story enjoyed that segment. the hole woodland restoration is so interesting as is the restoration of all the property. i will return to both YouTube so you haven't lost a viewer.

  4. Trades union vermin (rail strikes) do NOT care! Trades unionists are just greedy scum…..they don’t care whose livelihoods are destroyed; as long as it isn’t their own…🤮

  5. Hahaha the suspenseful music while Jack was looking for the truffle made me laugh!😊 Good luck!!

  6. I've never been able to look at beavers in quite the same way since that notorious exchange between Leslie Nielsen and Lisa-Marie Presley in one of the "Naked Gun" films…

  7. Black gold!!! Truffles!!! Yum yum!!! I hope you will find many!!! 🥰 Save Mapperton. 🎉

  8. Black gold!!! Truffles!!! Yum yum!!! I hope you will find many!!! 🥰 Save Mapperton. 🎉 The eagle is made out of lead? Queen Elizabeth’s coffin was lined with lead. I didn’t know this until later, but wondered why the military young men seemed like they were bulking under the weight. So, that eagle must be an anchor.

  9. How lucky to have truffles on the property! I see truffle hunting weekends at Mapperton culminating with a fine meal utilizing truffles! Or maybe a limited Mapperton truffle item for purchase. Or a special limited Mapperton themed holiday gift basket.

  10. Finial always reminds me of the Bewitched episode where Endora gives Darren a finial from a lamp to use as a magic charm!

  11. We’re trying to reintroduce beavers into the national forest my area too! 😊
Supporters are called “ Beaver Believers”.

  12. What great episode. I love seeing beaver cam. Please show more! And Jack!!! How cool is that!!!! Do you know any bird dogs? It might be cool to a bird dog in action – how he points etc not necessarily show what happens after the dog finds And on a completely different theme have you ever thought of perhaps a knitting retreat at mapperton as part of a knitting tour? Not sure feasible – the thought of walking the grounds and knitting there seems magical to me. Anyways hope you are having a great autumn/fall!

  13. In the US, the ornamental top that holds a lamp shade onto the lamp is called a finial.

  14. I really love beavers, especially their babies. They are as cute as can be…. Hope you have a male and a female!!

  15. Did I miss the photo that caused them to leap out of bed and go look? Was it the eagle? It seemed like it was something else.
