Music from the YouTube Audio Library: ‘Almost In F – Tranquility’ by Kevin MacLeod
A short ‘snapshot’ showing you the techniques I use in my own personal work; the linework in a painting like this takes a few hours, so here’s a few minutes where I demonstrate building up the structure, form and tonal values in a small area. I’m using waterproof Faber Castell fine liners for this work in progress.

Magnifique !!!
Wonderful ink work.
Mesmerising to watch, Lois.
That's gorgeous and really enjoyable to watch. I hope we'll get to see you add the paint too 🙂
Hello Lois, I like looking thru the barn door and seeing through the cracks between the wood, making the daylight shine thru.. A line and wash is so much fun, in depth drawing and lose painting.. You very good at both..
Love the detail. Thank you so much. Keen to see how it’s finished.
Magical!
wonderful thanks
Thank you Lois. Loved the music too.

Wow! This is really great Lois I don’t think I have the patience … wish I did ❤❤❤
Great details. Will you be publishing the wash stage, or leaving it as it is? Thanks.
Stunning…
Will you make a Video showing the beginning and important tips for such a beautiful drawing?
