like when they throw plastic bags, buckets in garbage with produce scraps, and their not thinking. Oh Greg, that was COCOA POWDER and Quick Crete CONCRETE (or Portland cement for moles?). I re asked my coworker. The vermin gets thirsty and the concrete balls them up. As long as your cats don't eat it of course!

I've got rabbit that eat all the lush natural plants on my property and hay I gather for the winter. The poop and compost is all the fertilizer I need. I feel bad for people with sandy soil that doesn't hold the nutrients so well.
Hose and a bellow would be a good way to oxygenate the tea.

Label your seeds.grow from cuttings. Sprout seeds for instant greens (instant means a few days to a week) . I have a bunch of cannabis seeds, most of them unlabeled. I am grateful I labelled some. People like to know what strain they are smoking.
Check out Asian veggies like upo and long beans. You can plant them next to things and they will climb and fruit. Upo will even grow up trees. Ask me how I know. Great in soup. Taste like zucchini. Very low maintenance. Bitter melon is another and you can eat the leaves. Wine cap mushroom beds are another thing that will give you food for years. Plant some sweet potatoes. Banana trees, you can eat the center core of the banana tree. And you just can’t seem to kill a banana tree once it’s started. They freeze and look dead but come right back.

Feed the soil naturaly, I can get seaweed easily, it is super rich in essential minerals, like iron, iodine etc.
Note that seaweed is not full of salt, just leave it on the ground and the rain will wash the salt off. Mulch it up with a mower or chop it up by hand.
Mix it into the compost. Stinging nettles make a powerful fertiliser tea.
Throw old cardboard in the compost not plastic

Can you address how one should defend their garden and their lives from marauders?? What about dangerous neighbors?? How does one grow food when ppl are literally killing in order to get their hands on some food??
Bring on the good prepping advice. I passed up a nice bag of worm castings today, I'll go back for it tomorrow. We're good to go with compost we've been working over winter.
Can you talk about working with Clay soils, Greg? I've heard clay has trade value on its own as well….maybe harvest and replace as much as possible (beds) as much in advance as possible. I've got a good friend in Albertvlle btw, we spoke of thar area before. He is a stud fisherman!

Ok….. I know I’m not too internet savvy but I finally figured out how to purchase my seedy from your link. I hope you get the credit this time. I am a Suburban gardener but I have property in Tennessee and northern Pennsylvania. This time I know that I have heirloom seeds enough to last a long time.
