Depends on what you’re planning. If you’re repainting the house a different color, then yes, you should do something with it, either paint it or cover it up with something else.

Bricks shouldn't be the same color as the siding, it makes the house look like a box
Not in my opinion because The original brick layout would be a even better transition between the foundation of the house and the outside mulch/grass. The color should be different than the color of the home or you end up with a box like house like this
painting brick always looks bad
It’s great!
As a mason I hate painted bricks, cause it covers they color on the mortar with it. It takes away that nice offset color look between the mortar and brick
