In this particular video…. we are finally getting some things done on the homestead, like adding plants to the food forest. We also ordered some online earthworms and red wigglers that didn’t go so well. Purchased and used our new auger, which definitely makes work easier in the garden when planting our new plants and finally I get around to sowing some seeds.

My name is Ausia and my dog’s name is Moo-moo… my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 600 watts of solar. I do not have a green thumb like my mom did however I have always enjoyed watching other people who are gardeners. I can remember watching a show on PBS called Victory Garden. What kind of weird kid watches Victory Garden? Lol.

You are going to need a fence if you don't want the rabbits eating everything. I lost 5 flowering and 2 herb plants in a 5 hour span.
I can never have an open umbrella here. There are wind bursts of 15 mph or more almost every day. Some are dust devils but most are just wind gusts. Everything has to be weighed or tied down because you never know when or where they will come from from.

Be patient with the Portulaca (Moss Rose), they take quite awhile to germinate. Also I was told you have to replant them every year, but mine came back by leaving the dead plants in the ground over winter. They may start later, but will be very thick.
Curious how you will keep the plants watered when you travel? Is there enough rainfall to fulfill their need? Really looks great around there now, great job!
