I think most of that is no. I was thinking what size jeans would I have to buy to get baggy jeans? That’s not for me. Balloon skirt, no. Most of it is no. My granddaughters have the short shorts. They are teenagers. They look okay in them. On me, someone would be sick. And my husband would have a heart attack if I tried to go out in those shorts. He already has problems with some things I wear. And I don’t try to dress like my granddaughters. I know what to wear and what not to wear.

One of my favorite items from the 80’s was buying a man’s blazer then blinging it out with lace, pins, flowers etc. We wore it with a plain white T and baggy jeans………….sounds like it’s back. One of our girl sayings was “No socks and matching underwear” My hot pants would be Luke Warm.
Hot pants. Nothing like the hot pants I wore as a child. I’m 61.

Enjoyed the vid. 16 year olds will wear hot pants just like I did in the 70s haha. Most of those things will only be seen on the cat walk and I don't think will make it into the s hops. Like the drop waist and the resurection of some things but all in all, I'll stick with classics not fads. Thatnks for showing.🦘😘

Angela you’re so funny. No no I’m not wearing that. I agree with you on all of these fads. I do enjoy floral which has always been a fad. Baggy jeans NOPE I don’t need to add volume to my body. Maybe some women that are really really skinny like my sister that needs to add some volume to her body. I really don’t care for most of the trends for 2023. That’s ok they will still have us ladies clothing we love. I think most of those fashions on the runway are a bit out there anyway. Thanks for showing us the new clothing. Have a wonderful weekend. Love your videos, love your style, and agree with you on the "ah nope" wear. The only place my rear or hail-damaged backside will see hot pants at this age is on a boat and even that would be a rare sighting. Just curious, but was wondering if you'd ever consider doing a "what I wore" series for a week when you are up north or down south so we could get a sense of what you are wearing at either location. It could really help some of us that may be traveling from the midwest down to Florida in the next few months.

If you're a larger woman, oversize ANYTHING just makes you look larger. And those really oversize jeans? Maybe on a size 2. UGH. Butt cutouts? Just NO. Ruffles on jeans COULD be cute if there were a very small ruffle on the edge of the legs or the edge of a pocket I'd wear those. I think of Grace Jones immediately when you talk about hooded dresses. Didn't she wear something like that in the 70s?

Angela, you crack me up! 😂Stock up on those tap pants! You'll need them to wear underneath those butt cut outs. Designers lost their minds. The average woman cannot wear these clothes to work or school meetings without getting fired or arrested. Remember the ballet flats with the big bow on top? Surprised we didn't see the suspender dress in the 2023 – 80's throwback line up. Can't wait to see what outfits you come up with for us in 2023. Prayers, well wishes and good luck! 😊
I used to love and wear drop waist dresses. I had a number of bubble hem dresses and skirts. Over them. Good videos… love you umm no! Lol

Don’t throw out anything. Things are cycling around so quickly now just when you decide to donate they are trending again. I’m so old I remember the saying if you wore it when you were young don’t wear it again. If I followed that now I’d be nekkid! 😅. Seriously the purple lavender trend was literally only a few seasons ago, and every few years they drag out the fringe and lime green! Ironically the only thing I haven’t seen is the unisex Star Trek outfits we were all supposed to be wearing “in the future “.

I think the corset look are for people who frequent the club scene. Most of these are a bit silly, and not for everyday. I tried a polkadot shirt on last week and I looked like a clown. And a supper big NO to bows. YUCK I would try a goth look over that. I do like a silver sequined shirt as it goes well with the grey in my hair, but I have nowhere to go in it. lol
