    I have never in my life seen so many recalls in all my entire 62 years of life. There are more recalls under Biden administration, than all recalls in the whole history of the world. 🙄

    Well the recalled all these chickens ,and turkeys, with the so called "bird flue",and yet have not seen are heard, of any dead birds, dropping from the sky's, around our country, and the bird flue effects all birds. Just saying. 🤷

    Oh my goodness Autumn thank you for the advice about storing sugar! I have been dry canning and throwing a little oxygen absorber in, and I noticed it getting clumpy! We save every single glass jar that we get from pasta sauce, etc…. bleach and wash and then fill with sugar or rice or beans or flour. We now have a variety of sizes for bartering, and it is much less messy than pouring it out of a bag when we need it. Thank you for all you do! ❤️

    Beekeepers use sugar for their bees when no nectar flow.. No bees, no honey.good idea to stock up on honey, too. Local honey is the best as it isn't treated. It was already a tough year with the drought, and, hopefully, this isn't ongoing.

    I'm sure that the government is taking the "recalled" sugar and stocking up for themselves along with all of the other "recalled" food products.

    I’ve set aside two 5 gallon buckets and also a 2 1/2 gallon bucket of sugar. Then I keep a Tupperware container that holds 10 lbs, that I use out of. When I start to deplete that container, I buy more! Lol! And if I do a lot of canning, I buy more! Stocked up on dark brown sugar too a while back when I got 1 lb. boxes for $.50 each!

    Funny how it's always a prepper item. This might be another lesson for us all on self-sufficiency. I use honey instead of sugar for many things. You can always find honey at a farmer's market. But yes, I stocked sugar a couple weeks ago when I noticed the sugar skid only had 1 bottom row.

    On this one I would say that they know when a machine on the line malfunctions they know what product they were running. So, while a brand name might make the store brand the lot, they were running may very well have just been the name brand. I do agree that it might be prudent to stock up. The baby formula shortages began with a recall. These days anything could be the next thing in shortage. We seem to be losing stabilities which we have been so blessed to have. I am grateful to have been born here in a time to see the abundance we were blessed to have grown up with. It is sad that future generations will have less than we have enjoyed.

    Well I would just check it carefully. It could be seen if metal.
    Tubs store better and less likely to clump. I put the bags of it in mylar or I'm stabbing it. If you out an oxygen absorber in it accidentally you can still use it. Chop chop. I don't use alot so in good shape for awhile.

    I have been buying Wal-Mart sugar or That;s Smart sugar or HyVee sgar. I choose the bags over the tubs because I transfer sugar to my daily user container or mylar bags or other containers for long term storage. I have never seen these sugar brands sold in tubs

    Plastic tubs verses paper bags and plastic bags all probably run on different assembly lines that hold/fill containers at different heights and amount of pressure in the equipment holding the different types of packages. If you watch documentaries on food processing/packaging you would see this. I know I'm a nerd!

    I looked at brown sugar yestarday I had a feeling to get some sugar I will do next time I get my money as I like to do baking and I need brown sugar for some things ,I've a we supply of white sugar which I don't use much I save it for my family ,I had a strange feeling to get Coffee mate milk as I haven't many of those I use them all the time they have changed the packaging to like a cardboard thin paper not good it wouldn't last long in that So i will at some stage the new ones will Mylar bag them ,I can hardly get the Good quality Coffee mate milk I tried a different one it was horrible I had to put it out to weak tasteless I do like my cuppa ,I've had a strong feeling for 2 weeks now to get my Nestles Coffee mate it's hard to get in the shops at present so don't know what's going on ,one shop B and M has some small ones so in going back to see if any left later today and I will get a few brown sugars to make my cookies for grandkids ,u can with Nestle Coffee mate milk even add a bit warm water to mix a little and make milk for cereal if one can't get milk 👍🤗🇬🇧

    They have been cutting cane and hauling to the sugar mills in south Louisiana for a few weeks now so a bunch should be hitting the market right now.
