I’m going to grow more food on my windowsill this winter!!

As the weather outside is so poor this week, and I and I want to grow more food this winter, I have decided to use my windowsill to grow more food.
This year I created a windowsill garden where I would grow tomatoes and chillies on our kitchen windowsill, but at this time of year its not possible to grow these. Instead I am using the windowsill garden to focus on growing other edible’s.
Microgreens and herbs is the main focus of what’s growing I this windowsill garden along with my turmeric, ginger and cardamom plants.
What edibles are you growing on your windowsill this year?

  1. I often get tiny little flies spawning from the moist compost, so I’ve avoided growing much in my kitchen. I have to use that bright yellow fly paper in my dining room where I start my 🌶️ 🫑 🍅 🍆 plants going at the start of each year. It’s quite frustrating!
