Come along with me to plant 150 tulip (narcissus), crocus and snow drop bulbs this fall. It’s critical to get your bulbs planted before the ground freezes, and I just barely made the cutoff since we got our first hard frost the night before planting.
Bulb planting is probably the most labour-intensive and least satisfying garden task in my opinion, but the payoff in the spring is so worth it.

Where I get my bulbs:
-West Coast Seeds: https://www.westcoastseeds.com/collections/flower-bulbs-fall-planting?offset=24 (best to order in early fall for best selection)
-Home Depot
-Local gardening centres
