Amaryllis flowers can grow outdoors year-round in zones 9-11 and require organically rich roil to grow well. One of the gardening tips I give in this video must be followed if you want your amaryllis bulb to flower.
Amaryllis flowers have a special meaning to me because before my brother Nick passed away we went to a Shinedown concert. They have an album named Amaryllis. We even met the band that night. So Amaryllis flowers remind me of one of my best memories with my brother Nick.
I’m hopping it grows well in this whiskey barrel container and I’m looking forward to seeing it flower.
