Front Yard Garden

German Shepherd That Acted as Service Dog Taken From Yard

A dog was taken right from his own front yard. Lisa Hartouni of Long Beach, California, says she adopted Jack six years ago when he was just a puppy. She says she left Jack in the front yard while she went in the house to get treats. When she came out 10 minutes later, he was gone. She checked everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found. A neighbor’s surveillance video shows two men open her front gate and take Jack away by the collar. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

  1. At least he's microchipped, I hope she gets him back I bet it was for a dog 🐶🐕 napping ring for one of those dog fights

  2. My German shepherd just turned 4 months I would be a wreck if he was taken from me

  3. Okay..That man that accused her of having a stolen dog should be that's where he is..

  4. This why I go outside with my dog do not want take a chance of anyone coming into my yard or a nother animal getting into my yard

  5. This is heartbreaking. People need to learn you can not leave a pet unattended anymore. To many evil people in the world.

  6. I have arthritis of the whole spine, right down to my toes plus Fibro. My dog is my life and is always in the house, and only in the secure back garden with me or family members never alone. These people have been watching her, and waiting for the perfect chance, and she left the dog alone…

  7. Fortunately, she had the sense to report the matter to the police. Those men might have even been planning to burglar her house, noticing her physical disability. The dognapping could have only been the coverup.

  8. Really feel sad for the lady and worried for the doggos well being, kindly keep posted if anyone has any news

  9. This EXACT thing happened to me. Before bed, I had let my German Shepherd out to potty in my backyard. Within minutes, he had been stolen. I never got him back. It's been 3 years, nothing. I have no hope of getting him back now, but I do still think of him. He was a medical alert service dog in training.

  10. I pray she gets him back-hopefully video can be analyzed and she can remember enough to get a sketch or details of the car.
Every pet needs to be microchiped. It has found so many lost pets.

  11. What the hell, who does stuff like that. Like, it's someone's dog, not a piece of equipment they left outside.
