Tokumei-en is a highly evaluated garden as the best in Kita-Kanto area for its magnificent scale, originally developed together with Dotoku Kannon (Buddhism statues in the cave) located nearby. Its rising and falling landscape gives its trees to have different timing to change colors, offering longer period to enjoy the fall foliage to viewers. The garden is filled with fall colors from the middle of November to the beginning of December every year.
