Great video. Loved the background info of Tim's #1 Japanese Maple pick. Glad to see their business continuing to grow.
That garden is absolutely stunning in the spring. Toured it memorial day weekend
Mr maple videos on here always cost me $ π€£
I agree with his choice. I have 3 different mikawa yatsubusa in my yard. My seven year old is in a pot about to transplant into the yard now that I "got the spot" for her.
i just planted 3 Japanese maple trees ordering from Mr. Maple and one of them is Mikawa. I am very pleased with the quality of the plants and their packaging. I will definitely order more from them.
π
So many have great fall color and fit well in a small garden. π
Just bought my first yatsubusa – canβt wait for it to grow in a few years !
Jim, thank you for featuring Mr. Maple again. Iβm a super fan of their company. Have bought a little over 40 Japanese maples and almost as many of their other trees and shrubs. All since this June. Everything has been awesomeπ
Thank you very much Jim for another visit at Mr Maple I love that tree I need to buy πβ€οΈ
Another great video. Soooo many amazing trees. Thank you Jim !!
Iβm caught up on the Plant Masters playlist, and rewatching them now that Iβm more knowledgeable. Thanks for bringing these speciality nurseries to our homes through Youtube! π
the biggest problem with mr maple is trying to choose which maple tree.
I have two in my yard. I have 50+ JM and this is the only cultivar where I have two one one type. Just info on this amazing tree!
Agree with Mikawa Yatsubusa #1. Love mine. I also have Japanese Princess and Tatoo, derivatives of Makawa Yatsubusa.
Shout out to my city .. tough getting Japanese maples acclimated down here. Iβve laid to rest at least 4 over the last 5 years π’.. will try this mikawa yatsubusu. Thanks for the wealth of knowledge Jim π
Jim, we appreciate you visiting and featuring us once again! You are always welcome!
Hey Iβm in Dallas.Ft Worth. Jim I have to have one of those how can I get one. Also I am planting 2 maples right now but not sure what I have one is white clouds βοΈ and the other one a little red one itβs called something to do with fire π₯ or burning? Not sure π€ wondering if you might have knowledge of them HELP actually I have 3 today Iβm transplanting it is going to bigger than the other ones not exactly not sure Emperorβs I I think and a Bloodgood had to skoot it over some my tamaukuai the one you guys have one in a container yβall are training well that and the Coral Bark are doing great h but they have been in the ground for since I found your channel so maybe 3-4 years I guess itβs 4 even though the drought. Hey that reminds me I still havenβt been able to find pine bark soil conditioner or anything close I donβt ever talk so this will be it really great π letter Iβm sending you thanks again for all that you do met some one today I could tell he has gotten inspiration from you I asked him your channel is where I started and you are the best I told you last week I know you are not going to lie to me if Jim said itβs TRUE and youβre not going to try to sell me something you actually help people save money while helping the environment Unbelievable
Haha I'm so used to seeing Tim on his channel that it took me a minute to realize that I was watching Jim's channel. I have purchased several maples and hydrangeas this year, oh and party lights false hollys from Mr. Maple. I'm excited to see how they do as they grow including my Mikawa Yatsubusa. Maybe one day, I can get a Mystic Mikawa to put next to my Mikawa Yatsubusa.
What about waterfall full sun howβs it doing I am wanting it also
Mine too
I found a variegated mikawa yatsubusa seedling, I call it North Korean princess.
Japanese maples do great in pots!! The colors are amazing. They do exceptionally well as miniature trees. I would not plant these in the ground because the beauty really comes out as potted plants. Then again I do not like any tree in my yard other than potted. They do very well in Florida.
These guys are awesome. Have never been disappointed with the plants and packaging that come from them. Thanks for featuring them again!
Hi Jim, thank you so much for introducing me to the guys of Mr Maple!! I just received my first 3 trees from them this week. Iβm now the proud owner of a Mikawa yatsubusa, a Kiyohime Dwarf Japanese Maple & a Skyland Golden Oriental Spruce! Thank you for always sharing your knowledge with this NC girl and plant lover!
Hi Jim! Another great video and Thank You for your time in producing these videos!!! I do have a weird question for you or your viewers… I rescued a Japanese Maple from the trash heep and got it to bounce back to a healthy state. My question, How do I go about identifying it? Many Thank You(s)…
Dallas, Texasπ
Awesome video and an excellent cultivar for sure. Itβs a crowd favorite among a lot of maple enthusiasts. Canβt wait to see what you came home with from MrMaple!!! Your videos are always fun and interesting to watch. Thanks again.
I love Japanese maple π. Thank you for showing maple trees π³. They are amazingly beautiful.
Iβve bought almost all my Japanese maples from Mr Maple always impressed with how healthy they are and how they are packaged and shipped
Love love love seeing this amazing nursery featured and all the priceless info from you Jimπ©π»βπΎπ
Walk around your neighborhood, everyone has Bloodgoods or red lace leaves, no Mikawas…. I really wish it was the other way around, this cultivar deserves to be planted in everyones landscape. Hopefully people catch on and we see MORE MIKAWAS!
Does sun exposure affect Fall colour?
