  1. Autumn, A budget is a good idea. My main thought about prepping is that my preps are mainly for those left behind. I pray that I am not one of them !!!

  2. 🙏 Hello my prepping friends of ABG. As a subscriber to this platform I want to invite you to my platform too. I have videos for you on bible prophecy and the end times. Please go to Papa Joe Fortner or shockwaves of the end times or The watchmen series with papa joe. Thank you and God bless you 🙏

  3. Thank you for all you do. I have been on a budget all my life. Lol 😂 But I do have a prepper budget I started years ago with my dad's help before he passed away in 2006. I use all the profits from my custom wooden sign business also for preps only. I won't be left behind when Jesus comes so I also have Bibles and letters in those bibles to whomever should inherit my preps in my pantries and storage locations.

  4. This is exactly what I did, and then slowly & steadily stocked up.
It hit me about 6 months after I started that spreading out my purchases also helped because the expiration dates are also spread out. Buying food in bulk like canned goods isn't good unless you plan on feeding all those canned goods to a large family. What I do is buy 2 or 3 cans of the one canned good that I need EVERY TIME I go to the store. Over time the cans at the store get replenished and the expiration dates move further out into the future.
Slow & steady wins the race.

  5. FIRST THING IN REALITY TO KNOW IS ……. YOU NEED TO REALIZE YOU ARE YOU COOK..BAKER..GARDENER and PROCESSOR of your FOOD…NOW!!!!!! BE REALISTIC WITH WHAT YOUR CAPABILITIES ARE and LEARN THE REST!!!!!! Then you can PREP..PREPARE…PRESERVE WHAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY EAT….

  6. Okay thank you for all the forms that you've worked out however I want you to think about a person who is on a fixed income I got my mortgage before I became disabled and my mortgage is $900 a month that leaves me $300 for food electricity internet and my phone so that doesn't leave anything really for prepping and I can't get a job because I am blind and have to use a walker to walk with got rid of my car got rid of my insurance for my car

  7. I have things dated I lack in writing down what there is I was thinking about that last week so I will get a little book for this thanks for reminder 👍🤗

  8. I can't do things in line so I will sit down with a pen and book work out what I HV left after helping family every month and paying my bills I haven't done that for a while thanks for a reminder ,if only I could get a generator 🙄 that would be nice I'm still collecting goods and medical at present a few preps 👍🤗

  9. Buying meat on sale has really helped me with my budget. If no deals I may only get bread milk one week…. Next deal I will get double the meat.

  10. I use milk jugs.i wash thm out with hot soapy water..i boil water.i dont trust people. Did you knoe the 10 commandments are being changed by all religion clearical faith at mount siani just fyi.

  11. Make a menu for 2 weeks and stock up on all the ingredients you will need.. Then multiply by 26 and you have a year's worth of food. Don't forget to get more than one can opener. These new ones don't last long. I have a notebook that includes sections for food and water, medical, hygiene and sanitation, housewares and security. When I go shopping I make sure there is at least one item per section on my list. Medical is rapidly becoming expensive and there are shortages that have gone unnoticed because we don't need them on a daily basis. I make sure that even if it's just a bottle of peroxide or alcohol I buy something for that section. This week's list included a box of nails, 2 rolls of gauze, a knife sharpener, a $5 deal on disinfectant from FD and I ordered an 18 oz container of cinnamon. Next week my oldest gets paid and we're ordering a set of battery operated light bulbs and when my younger son gets paid we're buying some wood planks to fix a section of the floor. Divide the job between all family members. Even small children can help by dating cans before putting them away.

  12. Hi Autumn I hope your having a great day! Back 10 years ago when I began prepping I prepped on $30 a week and I did that for about 3-4 months and then it went from $30 to $50 a week, now it's up to $300 a week and sometimes a little more. It's been a journey and a lot of hard work and a lot of sacrifice but it's been well worth it.. I will tell anyone that's been prepping for years to just keep doing what your doing, for those that are just getting started well welcome to a preppers world because all we do is eat, breathe and sleep prepping and we're serious about it. Don't get discouraged because you will have those days but don't let it beat you because there will be days that your gonna just want to quit, NO DON'T QUIT!!
KEEP ON KEEPING ON!! Because at the end of the day you'll be glad you did. QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION!!
    I love you Autumn
    I love our community
So keep prepping and preparing, God Bless All

  13. Cooling towels for summer months, you can buy these in bulk n get them on the cheap, getting ready to order a bundle, I have 7 for my family of 5 but want 2 each n to share with family n neighbor's, as for the fancy masks with the disposable filters, know what's in those filters? Activated charcoal! Watch some videos n learn how to make your own and dollar tree has a 16 or 20 oz container, this far, for $1.25.

  14. I’m a prepared because I inherited this way of life from my Daddy. We’ve always raised huge gardens and canned. We raise poultry mostly for eggs, but we have raised turkeys and lamb for meat. My husband’s family was the same. I’ve always hated going to the grocery store, so I’ve always bought extras of every thing. We were raised this way and it’s been like this for generations for us. You are so encouraging to people that have no idea of this lifestyle. People need to learn some skills for bartering. Sewing, knitting, car repair, building etc. ❤️

  15. I shop sales. I am not rich so I try to save as much as I can for holiday shopping. I mean grocery shopping. I got potatoes 1.47 for 5 pounds, chuck roast 1.97 a pound, I got about 40 pounds, butter to go in the freezer at 2.4and I got lots of veggies because they were super cheap and I will process them and freeze or can what I can. I also got a lot of other good deals.

  16. I put gallon water bottles in the freezer. You can drink it later and if the lights go out your food will stay cold longer. Berkey type filters are the only ones that filter out viruses.

  17. I was a extreme coupon shopper years ago-i could explain it to u if u want. Trips like $400 worth of stuff for ,12 cents.

  18. I have bought some extra items each time I go grocery shopping. It all adds up pretty quickly. I definitely have learned that I need plan out buying large quantities of meat. I have had meat spoil because the sale was good but I did not pay attention to dates and wasn't able to can it before it went bad and didn't check ahead of time for adequate freezer space.

  19. I talked to my friend today about all the prices and how high they are I told him good thing I have all this extra food put away he called me a hoarder and said they are greedy and price gouging

  20. Find one low cost meal that you can make using only shelf stable ingredients. Start with getting enough for a month. Then, Plan on making that meal once a week for a year.

For me it was pasta with tomato sauce. That comes to 48 cents for the pasta these days and 50 cents for a can of tomato paste.

Then add another low cost meal. Keep going until you have enough for 30 different meals for a year. Find places to store it. Convert linen or coat closets to pay least part in food storage. Get over the door shoe organizers. Hang it behind a door and fill the pockets with items. Get some low profile bins then fill them and slide them under beds. Purchase a few buckets with lids and fill them up but hide them in places around your home.
