  1. You will have a lot of garlic to use in your kitchen, to keep for seed for next year and to share or sell. Wonderful! Garlic is pretty cold hardy and will sprout again if it does freeze. I grew Garlic successfully on my wooden deck in a few large flower pots when we lived on the Cumberland Plateau there in TN. Currently I have 6 bulbs of Chesenock Red seed garlic 2 years old and in fair condition when planted a month ago, and 3 big fat bulbs of what is likely California Gilroy soft neck that I planted several days ago – all in planters and pots. My supermarket garlic only cost 55 cents per pound (not organic) while the Chesenock cost $40 per pound from the seed dealer and that was the current pricing as I had checked around. It is a gamble and I'll let you know in early summer or late spring how the bulbs did.

  2. We're getting hit by a freeze starting tonight (or tomorrow) too in Florida. I'm going to try and overwinter some of my peppers as you did. Thanks for the thought. I might do some garlic too. My little greenhouse is full of winter greens, I'm contemplating where I'm going to set them all out to. I should have an order from Baker Creek in today or tomorrow with some new (to me) Asian greens to try.
Thanks for the videos ❀️ Keep up the good work.

  3. Love your videos. We are getting gentle cold rain here in Texas. Really love it. Ok, now I’m about to watch . Lol. I have garlic coming up. Best wishes on yours. Trying really hard to get my elephant garlic to grow. β€οΈπŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸŒΎ

  6. Did you order your garlic and from who? I bought mine at the local farm coop don’t know the variety or if soft or hard neck.

  7. Excellent video and information, thank you. I just love garlic. Amish, Chesnok and Russian Red are just a few of my top favorite hardneck garlic. If I couldn't get any other varieties I will always plant Amish Garlic. I always plant my cloves 6" apart. Happy Garlic planting & growing.
I am going to check out Garlic Gods that you use for yours and see what varieties they carry. I do order mine from Keene Heirloom & Organics. Keene Organics has been great for me.

  8. Love it! I had great success this year with hard neck in my zone 7, first time ever planting garlic. I used organic cloves from the grocery store.β€οΈπŸ‘

  9. Beautifully done video! Can’t wait to see how this comes out. I am learning so much from you. Take care😘😘

  10. that is a lot of garlic. you do such a great job in your garden, and it is beautiful. enjoyed the video and again thank you!!!

  11. I’ve tried Music and Inchillium Red. The Music garlic did fantastic, so that’s all I grew this year. I do wish I had a silverskin variety because I heard they are the best for storage.

  12. Wow, I love these latest new editing style where you incorporate soothing music and the natural sounds. It is so enjoyable to watch your videos even if it is as simple as watching the garlic cloves being packaged.
