  1. After I seen a vid of 5 min hacks telling (young) people to use Crayola pencils for eye liner (makeup) was upsetting enough. But then they were telling pple to use permanent arts and craft MARKERS for eyeliner…I just exploded! SHAMEFUL!!

  2. everytime i watch ann's videos about debunking that include "five minutes craft" i just have to say this " five minutes craft, seriously ? 😑"

  3. And then we’ll need to debunk the debunking video debunking the other fake debunking debunkers

  4. I like to know something… someone tod me that it's not nessesary to preheat your oven. And i did try it and my cake came out the same. Was i just lucky or does it really matter if you preheat your oven or not?.

  5. Huh. Interesting. I always wondered why everyone was moaning about baking macarons. Now I get an inkling that it's most likely my traditional German baking sheet made of enameled steel. It heats slowly, for some projects I have to preheat the whole thing, but it's perfect for cookies and macarons.

If pre heated it's also brilliant for bread.

  6. 3:55 On the other hand, if running cotton candy through a blender makes it go back to sugar form, that could be a way to repurpose cotton candy that has gotten too compact to be enjoyable 🤔

  7. Love that heat transfer analogy 😂
Also, I'm glad you have sponsorships and I hope they help pay your bills, but those knives are a scam – another YouTuber named Shadiversity recently did a long video showing that they don't perform any better than cheap knives you'd buy at a big box store here in the US.

  8. this episode is very bad u should wash ur fruit n vegetables in vinegar or peroxide to remove the wax n pesticide from them must be nice to live in a bubble

  9. Its really nice you debunk TikTok's, but do you have to advertise a known knife scam in the middle of it ?

  10. It looks like you could use extra virgin olive oil as fake blood in a black lit haunted house attraction.

  11. I'm pretty disappointed in you, that even after 2 weeks, many people have pointed out that your sponsor is a scam. Yet you haven't addressed in the slightest. Ironic for a "debunking" channel to be promoting scams.
Honestly contemplating whether or not to unsubscribe, have lost a fair bit of respect for you, saw other people saying the same things in replies… You could have at least made a community post, shouldn't be the viewers job to deter people from falling for scams.

  12. The oven pan one is partially true.

It's not about the darkness of the material itself but it's the developed seasoning on the actual pan.
Helen Rennie explains this in a video. The more seasoning you have on your baking sheet the deeper roasting/colour you can have.

  13. I worked in the Retail Food Industry. All of the loose Lettuces and other Salad ingredients are washed in WATERED DOWN BLEACH. ALL of the pre-made Salads HAVE BLEACH in them!

  14. the tray one doesent make sense if you think about it, an oven works via conduction not radiation so it would not matter what color it is only the specific heat of the metal

  15. This ad is a scam. Would be nice for you to debunk it. I love your content, but these knives are just a scam

  16. Why do your videos not turn up in my feed if I've subscribed? Anyone else noticing this?

  17. Ann I always love your explanations. I had to take a second and just recognize I was learning science! 💚

  18. Instructions on baked products often give different temps and times depending on what cookware you are using so it would make sense pften with the directions calling them dark or light colored pans I wonder why that is

  19. But you baked all of them on white parchment paper. We used to bake crescent rolls on two pans at once, and we had an old blackened pan and a new shiny aluminum one. The ones on the old black pan always burned on the bottom while the other was just golden brown. I think that parchment paper ( we never used that back in the day) threw off your test results a lot. I think it is the color of the surface more than the type of metal that makes a difference.

  20. I just learned more from this video than all the school science classes.

  21. Did you look into these knives before you partnered with them? I really hope you aren’t knowingly advertising a subpar product

  22. She is debunking scams but promotes Kamikoto? This brand is a very well known scam… You just damaged your reputation…

  23. I don't want to feel like a bother, and she doesn't have to make another video if she doesn't want to. That being said, when she talked about the pans having different type of "heating". I wonder if that's why I always fail at cooking frozen pizzas in the oven because I swear, I think that oven has it out for me. It would be cool if Ann could make a video about which pan would be best for frozen pizza. That would be cool.
